Track Name: Saddle
¶ Working the local 7-Eleven ¶ Blank cheques, blank stares ¶ You get the picture, you get the idea ¶ The kind of picture you need to bear ¶ working from 9 to 5. Escape from planet here, escape from planet now ¶ Escape from the planet of the robot monsters.
Track Name: Deep
¶ You got a view out there as wide as a Hans Zimmer score for a movie yet to be written ¶ yet this coffee table looks like it's made for coffee table books ¶ What about this algae story of yours you try to hook up girls with? ¶ Want to share? ¶ So you did seven years at Folsom and now you're saying you're never going back? ¶ That's pretty much what Fleetwood Mac said ¶ although "playing in prisons" was never their kind of style ¶ Bachman Turner Overdrive ¶ that's more like it ¶ Although they played Manitoba, which is in Canada ¶ I don't know if that makes such a difference ¶ but at least they got better beards ¶ than that ferocious goatee on your chin.
Track Name: Dinger
¶ Old lions ¶ this is your kingdom ¶ city of lights ¶ spreading like cancer ¶ into the night ¶ And your scions ¶ looking for answers ¶ in this valley of blight ¶ Old blood hounds ¶ stuck in a kennel ¶ you build all by yourself ¶ There's a key, a key ¶ it is hidden in plain sight ¶ but I guess you'll never find ¶ Beating in your lover's chest ¶ but I guess you'll never find ¶ Empathy was yesterday ¶ today you waste my fucking time.
